The road to high-quality wines is not far - this also applies to the area around Laax. For this reason, we are welcoming a local winemaker to the next tasting: Giani Boner will present his wines, whose origins lie in the steep vineyards high above Malans.
Genuine, honest and passionate - this is how Boner describes his wines. The grapes for Pinot Noir, Syrah, Pinot Gris, Completer and Sauvignon Blanc benefit from nutrient-rich soil and plenty of sunshine. However, the external environment alone does not make a perfect wine - it takes winegrowers who carefully tend the vines and use their experience to do the right work at the right time.
Finally, the fruit is given the perfect finishing touch in an old cellar building of the family business. It is now being run by the third generation - with no less passion, commitment and dedication than in the early days. Whether in tanks or barriques, around 30,000 bottles of red and white wine are bottled in the middle of Malans every year. Always with great attention to detail.
