About Ustria Startgels

Lying at the heart of the hiking and ski resort in Flims, this cosy restaurant invites you to enjoy the beautiful view of the Grisons mountain landscape.

In summer Startgels is reached by a walk from Flims or by taking the chair-lifts to Foppa and Naraus. In winter, starting at Naraus or Nagens, the ski slope leads directly to the restaurant.

Ueli Grand pampers his guests with grill specialities and fine garnishes, accompanied by a creamy polenta cooked slowly over an open fire. Homemade pasta, fresh bread, meringues from the wood stove and creative desserts complete the culinary specialties on offer. Ueli’s well-stocked wine cellar always produces the perfect bottle of wine for your meal.

The evenings are very special in Startgels. Guests are pampered with a five-course menu in the cosy wood-
panelled dining room by the fireside. The journey to and from the restaurant is also provided for by car in summer and by snowcat (Ratrac) in winter.
